Accountant

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications
  • Must possess excellent analytical skills and positive organizational attitude

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, monitors and analyzes daily summary reports of all cash collections and deposits
  • Prepares, monitors and analyzes monthly updates of balances of all health maintenance organizations (HMOs), members of the religious and other companies affiliated with UST Hospital
  • Prepares and reviews bank reconciliation
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Audiologist

 Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of MS Clinical Audiology
  • Preferably with two years of training or work experience
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Willing to work for extended hours

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administers and interprets variety of tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech
  • Administers vestibular tests and site of lesion testing
  • Conducts counseling of patients
  • Gives necessary audiological recommendation
  • Makes audiological reports of patients as needed
  • Conducts case history taking of patients as needed
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Occasional Duties:

  • Administers audiological and vestibular tests to group of individuals outside the Center as requested
  • Performs minor troubleshooting of equipment or refers to distributor any machine malfunctions
  • Participates in meetings, continuing education, training, staff development programs and research activities

Cardiac
Technologist

Qualifications:

  • Female
  • Graduate of BS Nursing or BS Medical Technology
  • Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Medical Technologist
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Willing to render overtime and can work on shifting schedules

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Explains testing procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety
  • Performs tests to record patient’s cardiac activity using specialized electronic test equipment and laboratory instruments
  • Assists cardiovascular physicians in the performance of Treadmill Stress Test and Transesophageal Echocardiography
  • Hooks up patient for 24-Hour Holter Monitoring and prepares and prints recording for official reading of physicians
  • Hooks up cardiac monitoring as well as ambulatory BP monitoring
  • Brings defibrillator, ECG and cardiac monitor to the ward/emergency room in response to a mayday call
  • Prepares reports of diagnostic procedures for interpretation by cardiologists
  • Clarifies contents of reports from physicians
  • Transcribes dictations from readers/cardiologists
  • Prepares daily summary of income
  • Updates card files of patients and test results
  • Files copies of different procedures according to their respective case numbers
  • Assists in maintenance of the different machines in custody
  • Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of machines and other facilities of the entire unit for availability and usage

Network Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Electronics/Communications Engineering / BS Computer Engineering / BS Information Technology or any related course
  • Must be a CISCO Certified Network Associate or trained in routing and switching
  • Must be knowledgeable in computer troubleshooting, operating systems, Microsoft Office and VISIO
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willing to render overtime and can work on shifting schedules

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes computer networking environment by designing system equipment configuration and directing system equipment installation
  • Monitors network performance by establishing System and Network Operation Baseline and administering monitoring, measuring, and evaluating hardware and software performance levels
  • Supervises and directs the system operators to ensure data preparation, technical support & establishes computer standards and guidelines
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing security policies; defining and monitoring access
  • Ensures coordination between System Operators through reviewing MIS Technical Endorsements activities
  • Scheduling Preventive Maintenance for computer equipment, peripherals and network equipment
  • Reviews the Computer Service Reports and identify and document computer equipment and peripherals issued and pulled-out
  • Conducts actual storage inventory and reviews monthly storage inventory report
  • Reviews Server Monitoring Sheet and prepares monthly report

 Occasional Duties:

  • Supervises installation of workstations and communication cables based on proposal
  • Troubleshooting network problems and outages for both Internet and Intranet environment

Respiratory Therapist

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of BS Respiratory Therapy
  • Must be a Licensed Respiratory Therapist

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs ABG analysis, ventilation management, pulmonary laboratory tests/diagnostic procedures, nebulization, aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene and airway management, intermittent positive pressure breathing, pulse oximetry determination, and chestphysiotherapy
  • Prepares materials and assists in Bronchoscopy procedures
  • Monitors patient's physiological responses to therapy as well as equipment function
  • Maintains patient's chart
  • Inspects and tests respiratory therapy equipment
  • Prepares materials and equipment needed and provides assistance in the conduct of sleep analysis
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Staff Nurse

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Nursing
  • Must be a Registered Nurse
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willing to render overtime and can work on shifting schedules

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Renders holistic quality nursing care to patients
  • Assesses patient’s condition through nursing history, physical examination, identification of objective and subjective signs and symptoms and review of medical records
  • Develops plan of care and prioritizes individualized patients’ needs and problems
  • Carries out doctors’ order on admission, medication treatments, diagnostic procedures, surgery, transfer and discharge
  • Carries out plan of care from admission until discharge of patient and refers to physician accordingly
  • Prepares and administers medications and other treatments as indicated
  • Prepares patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Provides psychological, emotional, social and spiritual support to patients and relatives
  • Gives health teachings to patients and relatives
  • Provides clean, safe and therapeutic environment
  • Evaluates patient care management in terms of appropriateness, adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency
