The Department/Division affirms its vision/commitment to be a benchmark of education, training and research in child health, and to provide compassionate care and service to God, the child, community and country.
MISSION
The Department/Division of Pediatrics, in consonance with the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and of the Hospital, is a premiere department providing optimum health care for infants, children, and of adolescents, and center for education and research, in a setting that nurtures relationship guided by Christian values.
In this pursuit, the Department/Division commits itself in providing :
- Compassionate holistic quality care to infants, children and adolescents in ambulatory, community and hospital settings
- Pediatric education of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and paramedics; and
- Relevant quality research in child health
