Since it began formal operations, the Stroke Service has been actively involved in studies that promote further knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke. It has completed the following original research studies/review articles that have been presented at various scientific meetings or published in peer-reviewed journals:

II. Clinical Trials
The Stroke Service is involved in international therapeutic studies such as the Stroke-Acute-Ischemic-NXY-Treatment II sponsored by Astra
Zeneca. In 16 months, the Service has enrolled 28 patients within the therapeutic time window specified by the Study.
It is also an active participant in the investigator initiated VITATOPS study, enrolling 12 patients in 8 months.
Participation in other studies are currently being explored, such as the TOSS II trial, CLOTS-LITE study, and the like. |
